"HDZ BiH and the Croatian National Assembly of BiH clearly and unequivocally condemned the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, following all the views of the European Union, including sanctions. Therefore, we reject with disgust the attempts of some Bosniak media to present us in a different light after not accepting today's political stunt and completely meaningless initiative of the envoy to the House of Peoples Denis Bećirević", said the Speaker of the House of Peoples and HDZ BiH President Dragan Čović.
He adds he must express his disappointment that cheap political points are being earned on Ukraine's tragedy, and that "shameful propaganda aimed at trying to discredit Croats and Croatian politics" continues.
"The best answer to that are the moves of responsible and humane people who have taken in refugees from Ukraine, including in Mostar and Medjugorje, and are taking care of them for weeks", Čović concluded.
